My stay at The Rivergarden Siem Reap was a good experience overall. The spacious room and the lush gardens provided a serene atmosphere, though I did notice some areas could use a little refreshing. The dining options were fantastic, especially the cooking class which I thoroughly enjoyed. On the downside, some aesthetic aspects of the hotel felt dated, and there were minor inconveniences in the room decor. 🌴🍽️

The gardens and pool create a tropical oasis, though the interiors could benefit from some updates.

I had a lovely stay at The Rivergarden Siem Reap, but it wasn't without a few drawbacks. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home, but the noise from nearby dogs and early morning kitchen activity was disruptive at times. The grounds are stunning, with beautiful plants and a good pool, which greatly enhanced my experience.

I stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was beautifully decorated, but I could hear early morning kitchen noise. The room's location above the kitchen wasn't ideal, and I felt it could use a few upgrades.
Service

The staff were amazing and truly attentive, providing warm hospitality and making my stay enjoyable. They had interesting stories to share and were always ready to help.

The hotel is well-placed by the river and close to local markets and attractions. However, the surrounding area can get noisy, especially in the evenings.
Dining

I enjoyed a lovely variety of meals at the restaurant, particularly the local Khmer dishes. The choices were decent, though I found breakfast options somewhat limited.

The tropical garden and pool area were fantastic for relaxation after a day of touring. However, some amenities, like breakfast choices, could be improved.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Rivergarden Siem Reap. The lush garden and pool area offered a beautiful oasis, perfect for relaxing after my busy days exploring the temples. However, the room I stayed in felt old and less comfortable than I expected for the price.

Rooms
5.0
The economy room I stayed in had an outdated feel, with just a fresh paint job masking its age. It felt cramped and wasn't as clean as I would have hoped.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions I had about Siem Reap or arranging excursions.
Location

The hotel's location was a plus, just a quick tuk-tuk ride or 15-minute walk to Pub Street, surrounded by lush trees and plants, making it a peaceful retreat after a day out.
Dining

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, mostly limited to toast and instant coffee, but I did enjoy the fresh homemade bread available at the bakery counter.
Facilities

The pool and garden areas were lovely, providing a great space to unwind after a busy day, but overall, the facilities could use some updates.

My stay at The Rivergarden Siem Reap was mixed. The location was peaceful and the pool was lovely, but the service was lacking and the rooms felt a bit dated. I left feeling underwhelmed by the overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and presented with local flair, but it could really benefit from brighter lighting and better maintenance. The lack of a mosquito net was also a downside given the outdoor surroundings.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, but I did feel like there was a pushy sales vibe regarding the tours and services. It would have been nicer to experience a more relaxed atmosphere.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located in a quiet area by the river, a bit far from the town center. While I enjoyed the tranquility, navigating to nearby restaurants and shops was not always convenient.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was basic with limited options like toast and eggs, but the fresh juices were a nice touch. I expected more variety considering the price of my stay.
Facilities
5.0
The pool area was attractive, but some of the furniture around it could use updating. I was also disappointed to find that non-staying guests could access the pool, which made it hard to find a spot to relax.

My stay at The Rivergarden was a good escape, surrounded by beauty and tranquility. The friendly staff truly made my experience special, but the noise from nearby roosters could be a bit disruptive in the early mornings.

The chalets were spacious and clean, with a lovely veranda overlooking the pool. I appreciated how the rooms were set in a vibrant tropical garden, making it feel like a hidden oasis.

The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, treating us like family. I particularly felt grateful for Debra, who quickly resolved a booking mix-up with a smile.

Tucked slightly away from the hustle of Siem Reap, it offered peace while being just a short ride to the Ankor Wat entry gate. Just be aware that the area can get noisy at times.
Dining

Breakfast was a good spread, especially the homemade pumpkin and coconut bread with watermelon jam. However, I did wish there were more options on the menu.
Facilities

The pool area was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The lush gardens and little fish ponds added to the charming vibe.
